Online Thangka School

This online art school will teach all aspects of traditional thangka painting. These include learning the Buddhist sacred geometry, making stone pigments, brushes and preparing canvas for painting. Using IT technology this will be possible anywhere in the world.

The school is being designed by Terris Nguyen Temple, the first Western thangka painter trained by master Tibetan painters nearly 50 years ago. He is the artist to His Holiness the 17th Karmapa and Tsurphu Monastery, Tibet.
